The SIT Rustic coffee table is a square chest on casters. It is made by hand from old, recycled wood taken from barns, houses and rice troughs. The tabletop is solid wood. Five drawers and a flap give you storage space, while the hand-forged fittings and casters pick up the factory look. At about 90 x 90 cm, it suits a living room where the sofa can use a table with some character.

Most buyers are very happy with this coffee table and praise the solid wood, sturdiness and rustic look. Several mention that mounting the wheels is awkward because the holes aren't drilled properly or instructions are missing, and that the wheels only roll back and forth instead of turning in all directions. A few buyers had issues with OTTO's delivery, but that's not about the table itself.

What buyers like

Solid wood, sturdy and well built
Plenty of storage with the chest and drawers
Nice rustic industrial look, real eye-catcher
Good quality for the price

What buyers dislike

Mounting the wheels is often tricky (no instructions, holes not pre-drilled properly, screws too long)
Wheels don't turn in all directions, only back and forth
Wheels can be noisy on hard floors

In buyers' words

Solid wood coffee table
The table is absolutely amazing. The craftsmanship, the color, the individual elements are more than perfectly made and sturdy. We had nothing left to wish for, we're freshly in love. Really good craftsmanship.

An absolute centerpiece!
This chest table is great! It offers lots of storage, I really like how it looks, and the material used is just great, the wait was worth it! Only the wheels should be able to move in all directions. It combines wonderfully with other interior styles.

Critical review
A nice item but:
It's a one-of-a-kind piece and looks really nice. But it wasn't delivered assembled as announced. There were also no assembly instructions for the wheels. I had to go by the picture online. The wheels are very hard to attach because the screws can only be driven in at an angle with the drill. The pre-drilled holes have to be offset. Without pre-drilling, nothing works at all.
